English Translation
Ministerial Councillor Dr. Heckel Prague, November 9, 1942, November 11, 1942, Nov 11, 1942 I will return to the State Secretary in connection with the St.S.435/42 case concerning storm commanders P r a g e r after completion. I cleared the matter in a friendly manner with government director L e n k on November 7, 1942 in Linz. As a sign of friendly consent, Government Director Lenk, Government director Prager and I will visit Budweis at the beginning of December together with teachers from Gau Oberdonau who are seconded. The restored understanding is also made clear in front of the circles, the party and the administration in Budweis.-My personal inquiries with the district head in Budwies, the meeting with Reg. Director Lenk, as well as the reference to the report of the District Inspector to Reg. Director Prager about the meeting in Budweis, on the basis of which Praguer wrote his rough letter, showed, by the way, that Prager was in the matter in the right, although he may have also out of print. Prager could not tell from the report submitted to him by the district school inspector that it was a party matter, all the more so since Lenk had brought his government= and school councilman M e t z from Linz to the meeting and when the district captain of Budweis was also present. Since the report of the district school inspector did not show the opposite, Prager had to assume that matters of the school administration were discussed. In fact, Lenk did not exactly respect the limits of his party mandate. The district head and the district school inspector have both agreed with me that they themselves were somewhat uncomfortable at the meeting and that they pointed out that the Reich Protector or the Landesschulrat should have been brought in. On this reference Lenk has expressed himself in the sense that these passages did not concern him; he wants to present them before finished facts. Lenk himself told me that he had made such statements to the pure party character T0-104C/42
