- 3 - Jo promotion took place according to guidelines issued by Min. for education and folk culture. 3./ The trade in waste materials is one of the most important factors in the acquisition of waste materials, since it is entitled to carry out the same according to the existing collection system. Since time immemorial operated by rather dubious businessmen, the waste goods trade put first its weight on the trade in so-called objects of use, i.e. actually with everything, which can with some right be described as old or at least not completely new. Only in the second place stood the actual waste material trade. It was only the intervention of the local office, but above all the planned management of the waste trade, that succeeded in clarifying the traders' obligations and tasks and in guiding their activities into legal channels. If, today, more valuable waste materials /: textiles, non-ferrous metals :/ are traded under the hand, this is usually done by persons who previously had a business calculation and still add it to a firm customer stock, however, the local Ant is constantly striving to bring this trade to an end, in agreement with the Protectorate Police. 4./ The collection of waste from waste in Brno is associated with significant technical difficulties, mainly caused by the lack of transport equipment. The lack of suitable waste collection vehicles requires that the waste must be disposed of in similar trucks and horse-traffic facilities and, for the most part, must be stored indirectly at certain storage sites. Only the smallest part of the waste is fed to the incineration and subjected to a superficial search for usable waste materials. Work is currently underway to improve the sorting out of the system, but is experiencing major difficulties due to the lack of space. 5./ The school collection of waste and waste materials is carried out as an independent action at all Brühner schools by the City School Committee.
