The inventory of the main fund and the post office account carried out at the beginning of the examination showed conformity between the cash registers of the actual holdings and the nominal stocks in the books. The accounts in the Journals of the Land Office have been drawn up on the basis of the cash register for the first months of the Kom- missarischen management, since the management of the kassankladde was first regarded as sufficient by the acting head of Group I, Pg. Willi-Botho Bicker, responsible for the cash transactions. After the management of the financial administration of the commissary head of the Land Office - Sturmbannführer Baumann - proper business books were established retroactively from the date of the transfer of the interim head. 14 The bank accounts were audited on 31 December 1939.
