- 4 - the reordering of the documents at the Oberlandratsamte was ordered by a secret decree at the end of March. The execution of this decree could not be held up for explainable reasons. In the meantime, the whole opportunity was given a new status by the heavy efforts of the German head of the works council Tabor around the office building of the Oberlandrat. This was already talked about in Czech circles so much that there was talk of great divisions between the future German district head in Tabor and this employment office head. Even the succession in the service home of the Oberland- rat has already been made the subject of the debate. The Oberlandrat itself is said to have memorized various personalities about this suggestion. In any case, a wild rumor making and partly also rushing, the latter especially among the Germans, was the consequence of the long-term organizing plans. As a result of the new official reorganization, the actual implementation of these measures was expected for April or at least at the beginning of May. As a consequence of these expectations, the functioning of the Oberlandratsamt also experienced a fundamental change. New operations or new measures were often no longer introduced, since they were likely to be disbanded soon and they would prefer to be passed on to the newly created authorities. The willingness to work and the joy of service were markedly diminished under these impressions, since everyone soon expected a new field of activity. The impact on the Czech authorities is not to be overlooked either. These, if not openly admitted, also with a soon dissolution of the Oberlandratsamt and already stood for an reinforcement of the direct service relations with the now also German-led state authority in Prague.
