49a - 2 - Doubts left, that he will be dealt with with with the sharpest means, if he and his mini- sterium in an almost scandalous way prevents the execution and completion of all work in the German clinics and in the 1⁄2 hospital or at least unnecessarily delays. I also made an agreement with Sturmbannführer Eckardt regarding the payment of the 4-lazarette to the hospital administration and we agreed on 8o Rpf. per day and bed. In this amount only the compensation for gas, water, light and laundry usage is included, but not rent or similar charges. On this occasion, I would like to point out again that there is nothing to be said about the continued existence of Czech hospitals and that their closure would be quite possible and appropriate for the duration of the closure of the Czech university. We could then make suitable and sufficient rooms available to the German hospitals without any difficulties and with the effort of the smallest means and then better fulfil the task of a German hospital in Prague. On this occasion, I would also like to point out that it would be possible and appropriate to look seriously at the issue of the abolition of the health system, since it does not seem to have any other task than delaying the implementation of all matters. I am at home asking for a proposal on the division of the agenda of the Ministry of Health, which I have worked on.
