The Czech Government has asked for some personal data to be provided in a letter to carry out the appointment of another President of the Czech State Authority, requested by the Reichsprotektor. Since the position of the Presidential Chief is merely a function, but not a rank, it would seem useful for me to give the government, in the reply to this, besides the personnel data, an indication of the n0 rank desired for the German Presidential Head. The current head of the Czech presidential office is a senior councillor of the political administration. This is already an anomaly, when all the heads of the department in the state authority are also senior boardlors of the Political Administration. The executive board of one of the three presidential departments, Dr. Krejči, who as such is not personally but naturally subordinated to the Presidential Chief, even has the next higher rank of government. As I find out confidentially from circles of the state authority, one is inclined there to understand the letter of the Lord Reich Protector as if it were the appointment of a ton with kind deputy of the current Presidential Chief. As a foundation, he is referring to the monocratic structure of the State Authority.
