Copy Rectorate of Prague, December 6, 1941 of the German Charles University Herrn Dozenten Dr. Erich Bachmann , Ghemnitz- Ebersdorf. II.Art.Erss.Abtl. 50 Dear Mr. Dozen ! As I have already told you by Frl. Dr. Fischer, I would like to ask you to visit me at the rector's office on your next visit to Prague, as His Magnificence has asked me to listen to some of the accusations you have raised against you.As you already know, this is the removal of a barrier from the Institute of Peasant and Ground Law, the collection of books from the Benesch library and the addition of a part of these books to the Boch employee. Furthermore, this is the request you submitted to the Czech Ministry of Education and People's Culture to obtain a scholarship for research work and for a study trip to the Old Kingdom. On the first point, Prof. Dr. Swoboda has already made a detailed statement to His Magnificence and declares that you have only acted on his behalf. It is therefore essential to take your opinion on the second-tier matter on the files. Since you are currently with the Wehrmacht, His Magniscence undertakes to let both matters rest as long as possible. His magnificence, however, considers it expedient in your own interest that you should give your opinion on this matter at the next opportunity and that a written record will be recorded by me. I may assume that you will receive a shorter holiday to Prague against Christmas and then ask for your previous call. Heil Hitler ! gez. Dr. Kiekebusch. 5.1.1942 Dear Counsellor Dr. Kiekebusch ! Unfortunately, I can only reply to your letter now.I have only received it today. We have only been able to write today. I was transferred to the middle eastern front at the beginning of December. As soon as I return, I would like to come to you. I have to content myself with these few lines for the time being. We are used to the utmost of our powers. With Heil Hitler !
