English Translation
Head of department IV. in Prague 21.12.1942. W/H I./ Record. Včc: Notification of measures against family members of persons who annoy from London. K.: Order of the Minister of State from l7.12.1942. I do not consider it appropriate to mention the names of the family members of those persons who have been transferred to the concentration camp because, in the case of the families of Beneš, they are only poison-foot nephews and nieces. Furthermore, I consider it not appropriate that the London emigrants, despite the warning by Mr. State Ta-Lemník of l8.l0.942, should be pushed further. This finding, at least when stated in the official text, could lead to heroisování emi-grants. Therefore, I propose the following short notice, which could be further commented in an official article: "The family members of Eduard Beneš and František emigrants, who have been in the internment camp since September, were transferred to the concentration camp. These are the first consequences of the insubordination of their London relatives, who are annoying from their hiding places, as stated in the speech by the Secretary of State of 18.10.l942. This report would mention all the Protectorate press and one would be mentioned at 22.00 in the Czech news.
