This clarification was carried out at the time by means of preliminary talks with the Ministry of Social and Health Administration in Prague, which so far had provided essentially the resources necessary for the maintenance and management of the school in the form of a sufficient subsidy and agreed to us, the NSV as a new institution. A written declaration by the said Ministry in this sense is available. Nor did the formal institution of the school, the Landeskrankenhaus fund, raise any objections to the NSV's taking over the school; rather, it supported our efforts to secure the donations of the Ministry of Health, so that the external prerequisites for the transfer of the institution to the care and administration of the Nsv seem quite certain. However, since the negotiations with the relevant Czech authorities in Prague and the necessary clarification at my main office in Berlin took place for a long time, the authorities who had meanwhile taken part accepted the request to take over the German health care school by the German Red Cross. As far as professional training is concerned, there is no objection to this, but the German nursing school in Prague, which has to take over the training of the sisters designated for the German clinics there, has an extremely strong political significance. Thus, the use of professional forces, which have strong ties to the party, as is the case with the Nazi sisters, seems absolutely desirable. I therefore continued to run the NSV's takeover of the school. Although at all nursing schools in the Old Reich the respective institution of the hospital has to pay completely for the costs related to the operation, I have reached the basic commitment at my main office in Berlin to take over the expenses associated with the management of the school. ./.
