Betr.: Military service relationship and military surveillance of the members of the weapons-4 during the war. In agreement with the Reichsführer, the following is ordered with regard to the military service relations and the military supervision of the relatives of the weapon-s during the War: 1. The weapons=5s. According to the command of the Reichsführer of 1 December 1939, the members of the following books and offices belong to the weapons=4: 1. The $=B division 2. The s=Deadhead division 3. The s =Police=Division and its possession units 4. The =Junker schools 5. The S-Dead Head stand type 6. The Supplementary Office of Weapons=ss (s Erg. Amt) 7. The Arms and Equipment Office of the Waffen-ss(W.u. G.Amt) 8. The Staff Office of the Waffen-ss (sPers. Amt) 9. The Office of R.B. of the Waffles-s (Amt RB.) 10. The Welfare and Assistance Office of Arms-s(Amt) 11. The Medical Office of Waffenss(amt) 12. The Administration Office of Weapons-4 (amt). 13. The =Journal. From 1.4.40 onwards, the staff of the 6-13 offices will be supplemented only by members of the weapons=3s who have satisfied their immense aftive duty of service (W. G. § 8) in the = insertion force and from members of s-death-head-stands. 2. Acceptance, convocation, recruitment. For the acceptance, convening and hiring of the members of the arms=ss, the "provisions for voluntary entry into the Wehrmacht" of 17.11.38 (D3/2 Appendix 2) and the "Wehrmachtersassbestimmungen bei besonderen Einsass" of 28.8.39 (D 3/15), for German nationals in the Aus=land the "Wehrmachtersassbesbestimmen" of 29.4.37 (D 3-/1 Appendix 2). Close cooperation is required between the Wehrersasßdienststellen and the supplementary offices of the Werf-ss in the locations of the Währkreiskommandos. Acceptance, convening and hiring of conscripts, i.e., who have already served with the Weirmacht, requires the prior written approval of the OKW (AHA/Ag/E).
