2 - 2 - E The views, concerns and wishes of the Czech workers are called upon by the Deputy Reich Protector of the workers Bohdan/Theodor/Zástěra , employed in the factory "Explosie" in Groß-Semtin. He informed the Deputy Reichsprotektor about the company appeals that took place and, through their mediation, determined the wishes and concerns of the workers. He asked the deputy Reichsprotector to devote his attention above all to the fat supply. An improvement in this direction would be welcomed by the workers, for this would not only strengthen their ability to work, but also facilitate the struggle against those who wanted to exploit the present state of affairs against the interests of the Reich and thus also against the interest of the Czech people. He further interpreted the wish that a re-regulation of the concept of heavy and very heavy workers, as well as of night and camp workers, should be carried out, if necessary, a revision of the previous allocation of food cards in such a way as to make a thorough assessment of existing and heavy work rates. An extensive help for the workers would mean the establishment of canteens and the administration of soups for breakfast. Furthermore, the worker Zá stěra mentioned the desire for the procurement of work shoes and bicycles. He asked that, especially now in the autumn months, a greater continuance for the laborers should be released. He also expressed the complete agreement of the Czech workers on the energetic action of the Deputy Reich Protector against exploiters, chain traders, Jews and subversive individuals who had made the work of the workers the object of their exploitation.
