STATE SECRETARY FOR THE RUSSIAN PROTECTOR IN THINGS AND IN MORAVA, PRAGUE, inv. 387, sig. 109-4/132
English Translation
67 4 - without distinction the wage which has been fixed according to the customer's opinion is given. Finally, and finally, we ask you, Exellenz, in this context, to take the necessary action to ensure that there are no other factors in the scope of wage policy, the governance of which is shown by public bodies, than the organisations of employers and employees' interests, which are entrusted with the social and technical care of the workers. Paying attention to the well-being of large working-class families leads us to the request that such FPamilies, whose breadwinners earn no more than 2,000,-- K per month, start with the third child, be granted child allowances from public funds. Excellency, as spokesman for the undersigned, I have allowed myself to express the most urgent wishes of the Czech workers with the most fervent request that they be complied with. I would like to briefly recapitulate: an improvement in the supply of fat, work clothes, footwear, as well as bicycles, a sharp fight against fraud and overprices, compensation of earnings, improvement of wage supervision, exclusion of interventions other than those of the interest organizations in the management of wage policy and the granting of children's allowances, we are aware that they cannot all be put into action at once, from one day to the next. However, we will be grateful for every measure that will help to improve the position of Czech workers and their families, and we commit ourselves to trying to convince all our comrades of the need for honest and smooth work in factories, workshops and in the fields. What we have occasionally proclaimed to the company appeal is not only a solemn declaration, but we will continue to be among the Czechs./.
