English Translation
13 bt In consultation with Group II/2 of the Office of the Imperial Protector in Bohemia and Moravia, those places which had achieved a remarkably low result compared to the average harvest results of the previous years were now identified. In these places, the stocks of cereals farmers were determined by strict controls. The first actions took place on 17 and 18 November 1941 in the municipalities of H o r s c h a n and W o l - n t z , pol. Bezirk Laun, OLRB. Kladno, with the help of 25 detectives from the German Criminal Police, 20 experts from the departments and as many Czech and 5 German gendarmes. These controls for the recording of secreted quantities of cereals are now being continued by the inspection service under the supervision of German police authorities in two locations in each of the Upper Land Council districts, and their results are available from Annex 3. It is to be expected that cereal growers in the Protectorate will be prompted to offer their hidden quantities of cereals now to the Commission. Since the illegal grinding of cereals is mainly subject to the difficult control of small mills, the introduction of Group II/2 of the Reich's Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has led to the creation of a new group of farmers.
