I have experienced the Czech attempts at autonomy in the Austro-Hungarian monarchy, I have seen the struggle of the Czechs for their own state, and as Sudetendeutscher and thus forced as Czech-Slovak citizens I have felt the hardship and oppression in my own flesh for 20 years.
