52 The Commander of the Prague Police of Order, July 1941. at the Reich Protector Buco of the State Secretariat in Bohemia and Moravia be.aReichsprotector - IIp 31.40 - in Bohemia. 27/2.47. Eing.: 31. JULY 1941 Tgb. Nr.: To the lecture at the State Secretary's Office Subject: Review of the Czech Executive. Reference: Letter dated 22 July 1941 1941 No.ST.S.292/41/1/40 According to the order of 23.10.1939, the review of the Czech law enforcement officers was initially based only on the officers up to the captains of the staff. The information provided by the party services was often contradictory, in part it was only given after one year, in some cases it is still pending despite repeated warnings. To supplement the assessments, the gend. officers were drawn up by the Pol.-Batl., namely: in the case of transports, transfers or retirements. The opinions on these changes were issued in agreement with the competent Oberlandrat, so that now all officers except those employed by the Ministry of the Interior (invoicing officers, officer of the judicial service, etc.) and some executive officers from the team are available. On 26 January 1940, Mr KlerrGeneral von Kamptz informed the Secretary of State personally of the status of the review. In accordance with the wishes expressed, proceedings have been carried out; e.g. that contradictions in the assessments have to be clarified and reported when facts have become known about an officer who showed an anti-German attitude.
