The damage to public telephone stations in Prague continues, but in some of these light alarm systems - which are in operation at the moment when the perpetrator tries to damage the station's facilities. A lot of leaflets of English origin were distributed from balloons on January 20. The leaflets written in German bear the inscription: *America demands: End with it" and contain excerpts from Roosevelt's New Year's speech. They were found in the districts of Gumpold, Horschowitz, Rokitzan, Stra-konitz, Vodnian, Vlashim, Ledech a der Sasau, Pilsen, Vltava-tein, Wiitingau, Budweis and Tabor. A balloon with these flyers was found at the municipality of Koslau, district Strakonitz. The leaflets did not attract much attention among the population. At Jarau and Surseh, district of Pilsen, Dutch leaflets with the title "Kerstgroet l940" were found. Enemy planes flew over the district of Taus on January 3rd at 3.45 Ühr, however, did not throw away anything. The snow-narrow, which caused serious traffic disturbances, required their elimination by means of the general obligation to work. The population was willing to do so, although the removal of the decays in communities with a smaller population and a long stress reduction was a tiresome arbddt, all the more so the population did not have enough warm winter shoes, warm suits and gloves.
