46 is, thus, exclusively the merit of the artist and human being Heinrich Hönich, whose work as painter and graphic artist is dedicated to a particular place in this exhibition, as well as the works of his pupil and now several collaborator Josef Vietze. Two rooms, which are reserved exclusively for the work of pupils, bear witness to the high level of performance achieved by the students. In recognition of these facts and for reasons of popular policy, the three German classes of the Czech Academy of the Arts were immediately transformed into an independent German Academy of Fine Arts after the establishment of the Protectorate, which was recently taken over as the German University Institute for Fine Arts in the Reich. What this institution, its teachers and its students, in which the past lies directly behind us, have done in the presence of the present, in order to open the doors to the German University Institute for Fine Arts wide into its new Grossdeutsche Zukunft, that is the purpose of this exhibition.
