The compensation of the suspended officers of the security police who were re-used to comb the prisoners of war shall be determined in the following way: 1.) The officials shall receive full remuneration (including salary subsidy) for the duration of their service in a war camp; the payment shall begin on the date of the commencement of the journey and shall end on the day of return. 2.) The duty allowance and the flat-rate movement allowance are not to be paid. Expenses incurred in traffic with third persons may be reimbursed as extra allowances. 3) The officials are considered seconded to the departments of the security police (Ch. 14a), in whose case the prisoner-of-war camp is located. This service also covers the payment of remuneration, travel expenses, employment remuneration, etc.; however, the payment for married persons only if the secondment lasts for more than 3 months (cf. paragraph 9.7.40 - MBliv.p.1457 -, on proof of the number of transferred and seconded officials to the State Police). In the case of secondment for an indefinite period, it is assumed that it will last for more than 3 months. 4.) For the days of departure and return, the officials shall be paid travel allowances, as for missions and for the duration of their work in the POW camps, according to the decree of 11.9.1942 (RBB.S,184). In the case of use in the General Government, however, the allowance for the daily employment allowance is granted only in the amount of 25% following the decrees of the Reidh Minister and Chief of the Reichskanzlei of 8.1.1941 (RBB.S.1) and of 26.10.1942 (Rbb.p.217). 5.) Where there is a possibility, the officials in the camp must be kept officially and must take part in the catering of the camp. According to this situation, the employment compensation, the amount of which is shown by the contribution1to the allowance of 22.12.42 (MBliv.p.2366), the employment allowance (separation compensation) and the travel allowances, is determined.
