92 - 2 - Yesterday the Ministry of the Jnn granted an eye-catching support in the amount of 60,000 K. Of this Dobschichowitz received 50,000 K and Unter Mokropes and Lety each 5.ooo K. The potato allocation is provided by the Association of Potato Farmers. The allocation of gasoline has prompted the district authority. The need for rubber boots for people who remove the ice flounders is very urgent; so far it has not been sufficient to do so. The district authority also negotiated with the Department of Commerce because of the loss of rubber boots. Volkshilfe has dedicated an amount of 30,000 K to all communities affected by the elementary disaster. On 18 February 1941 at 9 p.m., the Presidium of the State Authority in Brno reported the following: On 18 Feb. 1941, the high water level of the Litawka stream in the disaster area of Hodejitz, district Wischau, damaged the left bank of this water. Over 500 bits of field and meadow were flooded. In the municipality of Hodejitz the cattle had to be driven out of 50 properties and people were evacuated from a house. A department of the government force from Butschowitz and a division of the German Wehrmacht from the garrison took part in the rescue work. There was no accident.
