Mr Major H a r t e l gives the following water level report today, 7 p.m.: All the rivers of Bohemia are alarmingly concerned; however, as a result of the vibrating shock a slight frost has occurred, a slight decrease in the water level was recorded this morning. The highest water level this morning was at 1 o'clock at Moderschan + 350 and in Prague at the Altstädter Mühlen at 3 o' clock in the morning + 206. The flood has now reached its highest point in the lower Elbe valley below Melnik, where the highest level of + 505 is expected this afternoon, a circumstance that is very worrying. Jn der Schwarzerer (Mären) the water has dropped by one meter. A further deterioration of the situation does not threaten. Jn Seelovice and surroundings have got a number of houses cracks, human lives are not to be lamented. Prague, March 12, 1941. Buamousspn N diekerih brge l72/8.47. St. S.πvK.
