In a letter to Division I of the Reichsprotektor's office, which was also sent to the Post Group in a copy, the group leader called for transport to be involved in the appointment of the new Director General of the Post Office, as this question concerned the responsibility of the Minister of Transport, to whom the Director of the Heneral is also subject to the post office. There is no need to lose a word about the factual side of this matter, but the fact that such a step is possible over the top must be recorded. 4.)When the Prague of the occupation of the Director-General=posten der Post by a German was discussed, the head of the Transport Group was appointed by the Under-Secretary of State to examine whether a suitable solution for the transport sector would be sought. In the later discussions between the head of the Transport Group, who had been entrusted with the management of the Department of Transport, and the Head of the Post Group, however, it turned out that the Transport Division did not intend to pursue a parallel development in the rail sector, but rather the redesign of rail and mail within the meaning of the Government = Ordinance of 20.1.19919, albeit with formal maintenance of the separation.
