111 Major H a r t e 1 gives today, 1.30 a.m., the following situation report: The state authority in Prague reports on 14.2.1941 at 10 o'clock the following: The situation on the Bohemian rivers is unchanged. The ice is still on the upper Vltava and the Elbe and their tributaries. Stechowitz: On 13.2.1941 two pillars of the right part of the bridge have been removed over the Kocabka and the ice masses have been cleared away. By Saturday, 15.02.1941 the whole bridge will probably be removed. At this point water has penetrated into 10 ground-level houses; in 7 ground-floor buildings, which are under water, the inhabitants have not yet been able to return. Bikowitz: The ice storage will be tanned away by the staff of the Lanner company and by a pioneer train from Pardu-bitz, which is to arrive in the course of today. From Dobschichowitz and Chernoschitz water has penetrated into about 60 houses, in Dobschichowitz alone in 20 houses. Ober-Mokropes reports three houses under water. In Rewnitz water has invaded 70 houses and in Lety in 50 houses. Jre inhabitants have not yet been able to move into these houses. In addition, 50 builders have been swept away at Dob- Co aod le oo, and 70 more collapsed. The road from Dobschichowitz to Ober-Tschernoschitz and the road between Dobschichowitz and Vschemor is partly under water. Ober-Mokropes and Vshemor are without electricity.
