English Translation

E7 - 3 - hard conditions of life are reflected in the Russian people by a great ability to suffer, linked with a certain cruelty against all those involved in the struggle for life. The primitiveness of the cultural level of the Russian nation requires the simplicity of thinking and the assessment of processes that are understandable for our concepts. The slavery of the masses of this people, which has lasted for centuries, has created in it an abstention and resistance against every concept of authority and made it easily accessible to all revolutionary impulses in the hope of an improvement of its existence in the absence of its own ability to judge. In order to obtain an almost reliable picture, it is necessary to look at the historical development as well as at individual representations which appear significant and allow conclusions to be drawn.
