-2 - 72 After his departure from the Czech military service, he moved to Agram, where he remained until l935 and was director of the Jewish company Orenstein & Koppel. His departure from this company took place, as difficulties due to -t B d C dee a half to Leitmeritz. Politically, he did not appear. On the other hand, he was a zealous member of the "Schlaraffia". In this lodge he played a leading role both in Agram and in Leitmeritz. His connections with the former Schlaraffia members are still present today. He is very close friends with the Jewish Schlaraffe Dr. Rudolf Porges from Leitmeritz, in whose house he lives with his family. Furthermore he maintains close contact with the Schlaraf fen Dr. Kleinschmidts, a former valiant functionary of the All-Schleeraffen in Prague, who held high positions under Benesch and is now working in the Prime Minister's office. According to the V.O.E.'s own statements, the former Schlarafen in Prague should come together again and again and that such a meeting had taken place e.g. at the l1.7.4o in the local Vaňha on Wenceslas Square. It is also significant that he provides his signatures with various cabalistic snorts and, questioned about it, explained that in each case the Schlaphafia-Uhu is marked, that is a secret sign for initiates. (Appendix-l). With a son of the already mentioned Jew Dr. Rudolf Porges, Dr. Friedrich Porges-kledecka, sectional councillor in the regional economic district, who was formerly known in the Czech office for his brutal action against the Germans under the name "Bodenamts-Kledecka", travels almost every Saturday from Prague to Leitmeritz and Mondays. Attention is drawn to this traffic with a Jew, according to v.O.E. It is also characteristic of his Jewish friendliness that, for example, he strongly campaigned for a full Jewish woman from Leimeritz, Boruvka, the widow of a retired officer who had previously been in Vienna.
