83 - 2 - I am happy to report orally the reasons for my departure from the SS." It is strange that the SS man Hepky, before I left the SS, visited the accountant of the company "Te-Ta", Mr. Lorenz, and told him that I had been demoted. I wrote a protocol about it with the accountant and handed the same to the main storm leader Balcak. Unfortunately, I don't know what happened further, because I had to leave Prague. It only arises the question, who could have informed the Hepky at all and also in such a disfiguring sense. You also see from the spread of this rumor that it is intended to weaken my messages, which I have submitted to the SS against Hepky, or to put them out as untrue at all - I completely refrain from the fact that at the same time it was spread that I was not a member of the party at all, since a simple request in Vienna would show that I enjoyed old illegals and for the party in the dungeon, even before the österr. The fact that the worst rumors have been spread about me and the Chief Government Councillor Taurus, which even led to a subjugation in the criminal police, will ever be known to you. Also these slanders, as I could see, come from the SS man Wilhelm Hepky. The fact that no word of these rumors has been true has proved to be perfectly correct and I ask you, if you want to know more, to agree with the detective chief storm leader Grade. I do not know what other rumors have been circulated about me. I just keep hearing that the SD is going to take a stand against me and have unheard-of files about my person. I can only say that I don't feel conscious of any guilt, because I have always fulfilled my duty as an SS man and as a National Socialist, and also in the "Te-Ta" I only stood up for the national interests, both the Pirma and the employees. If Dr. Worsch claims that the whole matter is a personal dispute between Hepky and me, he must stress that I never had a personal quarrel with Hepki. I did not take action against Hepky until he left the German director without notice, and he and all other German employees in the most common way and returned in every way against the Czech employees.
