If people come to the old district authority today, then they are always surprised at the speed with which cleanliness and order have moved in here. In this case, too, only a firm leadership and a uncompromising attitude are required, then it is possible. What my office-man and I do with a kind of spindrevision in desks, cabinets etc. I had such a Czech official open his desk because he had everything clean on the tabletop, according to an earlier order of duty. I have found that in the table-chambers with countless pencil-stumbles, half cigarettes, tobacco residues, old butter-bread papers, files and processes were in the trusted association. A great thunderstorm almost caused the man to sink into the ground, but I could not find out at my last revision of this kind any more. From all these images a very clear recognition of the inner nature of the Czech officialship emerges. It was under the leadership of a party clerical, who showed little interest in the inner cleanliness and mental attitude of his officialship.
