.h9 - 19 - this is why the reorganisation of the autonomous authorities will also encounter considerable difficulties, particularly the cumbersome and difficult functioning of the Czech officials. This marginally low level of Czech officials will be due not least to the unplanned construction of the Tacech official apparatus during the previous regime. The internal business of the autonomous offices was also presented as in need of change, in particular in the treatment of the postal receipt and exit, the keeping of files and the service stamp adhesive. However, voices were also voiced in favour of maintaining the present state, especially with regard to the processing of the mail, because this meant that the Czechs could not simply disappear from unwelcome processes. It was further criticised that too much of the Czech officials themselves would be written and dictated to too large a extent, and that only a few of the female assistants would dominate stenography. On the basis of the insight gained so far in the business operation of the autonomous administration, it is assumed that the staff level can be reduced too high and therefore, especially if one takes into account that he was still occupied with immigrated Czech officials from Sudetengau, Slovakia and Karpatho Ukraine as well as with members of the former Czecho-Slovak army and the dissolved financial guard. It would also be possible to make savings if the German language skills of the Czech officials had continued to flourish.
