On 4.5.1942 I visited Section Chief of Popelka to ask him the question of the publication of the letter of Dr. Be nesch to President Hácha of 30 November 1938 as a copy in the Orbis brochure "Address of Minister Ema nuel Moravec at the Congress of the Union of National Journalist Associations 10 - 12 April in Venice" and the question asked by W group leader Frank about the importance of the postscriptum in the letter to be discussed. v. Popelka asked at the beginning to allow him to present his affairs in advance. In this connection, he came to the question of the conversion of the NG leadership and made statements about the meaning and purpose of the reconstruction. Jch had not made any statements in this regard. Furthermore, v. Popelca mentioned that Minister Bertsch had just been to Hácha. He (v. Popelka) had, on behalf of Hácha and Bertsch, discussed the question of how the German greetings were made during the performance of the protectorate anthem. Hákha argued that both the Czech and the German audiences should honour the protectorates antheme as well as the German national anthemes with their arms raised to the German Greetings. Bertsch wants to give a lecture on this question group leader Prank. He (v. Popelka) teaches me that I know that the question comes to the lecture. Jch also made no explanations on this point. Furthermore, v. Popellka informed that Hácha wanted to have group leader Frank the goodness to check whether the lawyer known to him (Hácha) Dr. Josef Ružička, Prague XIX, place of the Wehrmacht 14, who has been in protective custody in Hopm since 4.10.1941 and is in the concentration camp Mauthhausen, can be dismissed. Jch assured from Popelka that the question would be examined and that he would soon be informed. 74.99.5
