- 3 - III. The work of the branch of the Reichsstelle currently comprises the following areas: 1.) Re-create textbooks for teaching in the fields of medicine, or for subjects for which there are no suitable textbooks due to the book bans and rejections. 4.) Advising the school publishing house for Bohemia and Moravia, especially in the planning of school readings and books, which are intended as a supplement to the officially approved school books. 5.) Review of the political side of the individual booklets of the student magazines published by the Ministry of Education. 6.) Execution of work which is immediatly related to the school book order (e.g. In the case of teaching courses for Czech schools, ensuring that the German schools have access to the books required for teaching, selection of pupils' and teachers' libraries, teachers' manuals, etc.) 7. The approval of school books submitted in the approval procedure is generally only granted after the author's review (cooperation with the SD. and the party), the contents of the book and the question of whether there is an urgent educational need or a political interest on our part for the book in question.
