Prague, 5 October 194o. 0 19,36 R=ProtNorei2941 FS. a d pa 4.42 Whe Geheim! Urgent! Present immediately! 2 rtm ay To Mr. Oberlandrat in B r n. Betr: Studied Bulgarian students at the German Technical University Brno. On behalf of the Secretary of State, I ask whether it is possible to ensure that 7o Bulgarian students are accommodated and cared for by German families in such a way that the Czech influence is excluded as far as possible. In this regard, the Secretary of State points out that, according to experience, the Czech families leave their rooms at lower rates at 8-10 m. precipitate than the German families and that the Bulgarian students have on average lower resources. As a result, there was a certain risk that the students would value their accommodation with Czech families for economic reasons. In these circumstances, it was still to be examined whether the students could not be accommodated in a German-run home. I would ask you to submit the answer to the above FS by 8.0kt.194o at the latest.
