English Translation
In order to make use of the summer semester of 1941, the greatest haste was required, so that it was practically no longer possible to inform all the competent authorities. On the basis of the newspaper note you know, 221 Czech students sought admission to study, of which after a racial and health check, after an examination from the German language and after the political assessment 36 were admitted to the study. Of these, 11 doctors study at Heidelberg University, 9 doctors at Würzburg University, 12 technicians at Stuttgart University of Technology, 3 forest students at Thanandt Forest College and 1 mountain student at Freiberg Mountain Academy. Three German students were employed to monitor their behaviour. Further measures are not planned at first. In this context, I can point out that in the first few days following the announcement, the necessary questionnaires had been collected in the press by some 1350 students, but that after the intervention of the London station the interest on the Czech side suddenly ceased. This is also characterised by the small number of students who registered in relation to the number of questionnaires collected. Before any further regulation of this question is made, I will be able to establish my agreement with you.
