In the course of the expansion of the universities, a larger number of institutes and chairs have been transferred to other areas.Danit was a temporary but often non-ate-long interruption, with the difficulty of the scientific enterprise.Apart from this, numerous professors and their staff were heavily involved in organizational work concerning the expansion, which also affected the scientific activity.On the other hand, this created better conditions for the future work.The effects of these measures can only be seen in the next honates and years. It is therefore to be hoped that further intensive professional commitment by all university members will soon bring the Prague German Charles University and the Technical University back to the scientific level and to the reputation that they enjoy on the basis of their tradition and their particular situation.
