Introduction. Just as in previous years, the following list of publications does not include the scientific and other publications of the members of the German universities of Prague during the 1939/40 academic year, and the public is informed. In this list of writings there were those works that had actually appeared from October 1st, 1939 to September 30th, 1940, not even writings that were still in print. This renaissance at the same time shows that, despite the state of war and the lively proximity of university members to major political events of our day, the German universities of Prague have the opportunity to demonstrate scientific achievements.
