English Translation
6l -2- The imposition of the compulsory administration was primarily due to political reasons. It was already known over a long period of time that certain circles of the Czech nobility were still legitimistic and in part acted as radical German treasonists. The reports on this matter by the security service showed that the introduction of appropriate measures was necessary, taking into account precisely the fact that part of this nobility is German and, despite this fact, does not meet institutions to try at least one imperial friendliness. If it is pointed out that the families have fallen into German, it is all the more surprising that the children of the persons concerned are granted an exclusively Czech education. The decisive factor for the taking of the measures was not the former declaration of the Benesch as such, but the political attitude of the people concerned, which has remained virtually unchanged since that time. The omissions concerning the motivations for submitting the Declaration of the Benesh are therefore uninteresting in this context. They only want to awaken understanding for the attitude of the Czech nobility at that time. There is no need to go into this in detail, because - as has already been pointed out - it was not the declaration itself that was decisive for the adoption of the measures, but the unchanged political attitude of the parties concerned. (b) the right to impose compulsory administration also on ancillary undertakings; (a) C d T d d -3-
