2 to address the Führer in this matter. That this is not an isolated case is proved by the fact that also folk Germans in Budweis, who had moved to Arys, brought lawsuits about the insults of "Czech swine" which they had received. As a conscious national fighter, they are all the more painfully affected by such an opinion formation of old- Reich German Wehrmacht members. Furthermore, there is often a general discussion about creepy food, lack of accommodation, etc. For example, the persons retired in Arys, who remained there until their return transport, reported that they had not been provided with sufficient linen or other items of daily need. Ceilings had been provided to them in insufficient numbers. Bed linen had been missing altogether. In a room in which 40 men were accommodated, there were only 6 harnesses. In addition, they were forced to live together with 3 sex-sick soldiers in the same area. In popular German circles the activity of individual military registration offices is strongly criticized. They are accused of a lack of care in the design of the conscripts. Only in this way can it be explained that, for example, some of the persons who were numbered by the Wehrmeldeamt in Olmütz were declared unfit on the spot in Arys and sent back to their home country. It is also considered questionable that too little caution is applied in the design of the so-called "Neudeutschen" by the military registration offices -3-
