Betr.: Convening of People's Germans from the Protectorate to the Wehrmacht. Reports about the treatment of people's German people with the Wermacht are received in a relatively small number. This may be due to the fact that critical opinions on Wehrmacht measures are given only very cautiously in view of the reputation and importance of the Wehrmascht, and also because the parties concerned fear that their reports could bring personal disadvantages. In any case, cases are known where people German directly refused to report their statements. Nevertheless, it has been observed in some places that the military joy, which until then was very great in the youth, has diminished. In connection with this, it is argued that this is, among other things, a consequence of the treatment of the people German by individual military authorities. In particular, the case of Brno is referred to once again, where the complaints of the people's Germans who had been brought up to Arys/East Prussia about harassment and the worst insults on the part of their predecessors have assumed such an extent that the Brno women's leadership has decided -2-
