oV 4. In accordance with the view set out in point l above on the condition of the fulfilment by the Wehrmacht of greater requirements by doctors, the consultation with the "general SS" could not have any influence on the convening which was envisaged, because: I. This convocation takes place only for a short period of time, only for the purpose of making suitable military doctors available to the fighting troops in the event of distress. II. Only a very small percentage of the conscripts above = belong to the "general SS " in general, III. the "general SS " as members belong to very many doctors in itself, so that a temporary failure of some doctors may hardly be noticeable (for example, there is a list of 36 doctors, comprising 20 members of the " general SS "), IV. In view of the large number of young doctors in the "general SS " it would not otherwise be possible to achieve the great goal of providing our fighting force (wehrmacht) with sufficient trained military doctors for failures to the best of their ability, pointing out the fact that e.g. The establishment of the L.- Sch.- Einheitén alone required 35 doctors, with difficulties already arising in clinics, that the home country is largely devoid of doctors, that at last the convenings are narrowly bound by themselves, because it is not acceptable for the continuation of the clinic and above all for the teaching firm to convene in a considerable amount of rozents and older assistants. The legal situation regarding the replacement position for the armed parts of the SS is laid down in the Verfg.: O.K.W. 12 a AHA/Ag./ E ( I d ) of 24.11.1939 , No. 10583 / 39 which clearly states that from l.l2.39 the recruitment of the armed sections of theSS must be carried out by the external post of the supplementary SS office at the site of the Wehrkreiskommando XviI. In the case of the V.E.I. Prague, the most close cooperation is to be noted. Message: I.A.W.E I.Prague, Abt.IIc feler Oberfeldarzt
