In the Czech people, too, the view of a modern view of marriage, which was strengthened by liberal influences in the last few years, has led to a strikingly large number of two- and one-child marriages, and to childlessness (especially in the possessing strata), and has shown biologically backward effects. This fact and the Czechs, after 15 March 1939, so strikingly propagated self-contemplation on the "accelerating values of the people" gave reason that the "National Community" (NG) in the summer of 1939 emphasized the promotion of marital and child-like happiness within the framework of a special action for marriage allowances. However, as later observations showed, the hope of the resulting propagandistic favourable effects on the following people was in the foreground, because it was believed that the public would see a work success of the NG and be impressed by material contributions. The intention was carried out mainly by the youth organisation of the National Community (NG-Youth), which, under the slogan "The Youth for itself" (Mladi sobë) in early August 1939, presented the action as a kind of self-help matter for the youth. -2- St. @.3-30/42
