On the question of the ethnic German associations, the district leaders of the Sudetengau take the view that as many associations as possible should be dissolved. The remaining associations should be summarized in association rings and be subordinated to the party. With regard to the German cultural association, I express the wish for the district leaders of the Sudetengaues that he should not carry out his own collecting activity, but rather have to make an agreement with the NSV with respect to the means necessary for his work. In circles of the NSDAP, it is believed that the German cultural association as a school founder and educator has at most temporarily its significance, but that, above all with regard to the reputation among the Czechs, the German school system must become a business exclusively of the German Reich authorities as soon as possible, as far as foundation and preservation are concerned. In this question and in all matters, the execution of which is dependent on Reichsmittel, I and the district leaders of the Sudetengau want to impose on themselves the impression that resources are currently being turned primarily to the last liberated areas in the former Poland. In the self-evident assessment, which this great task in the newly-
