The question had been resolved in such a way that the supply was secured until the end of August 1945 and not as it looked before, only until the close of May. Bienert noted that the solution to the supply question came about on the basis of an agreement between the Minister of State and other Reich offices. The implementation was such that nothing had to be introduced from the Reich after the Protectorate, because first of all the withdrawal of grain for the military and the refugees as well as for other Reich purposes had been suspended. The Reich would cover this need itself. With immediate effect a delivery of a thousand wagons of grain to the Ostmark had been stopped. In this way it could be expected that the available food quantity of each protectorate resident will be fully covered by the end of August. This supply system is an important political act. Lintig He (Beenert) values it very highly, because it contributes to the maintenance of calm and order in the very highest extent. ywhrW $\D-2^{2}/$ St. M. 141
