Berlin Place of publication: -1. 11. 1944 Date: Moravec on the situation in Bohemia l680 and Moravia Prague, 31.10. The Czech Minister for People's Enlightenment, M o- ravec, gave a radio address to the Czech people, in which he emphasized that in Bohemia and Moravia calm reigns, that with tension all forces are working, and that it has succeeded in gaining the trust of the empire. The vast majority of the Czech people had realized that the only way to save the small peoples was to win the empire. In the sixth year of the war, in Bohemia and Moravia, which are today one of the quietest areas of Europe, no one needed to suffer from hardship and hunger. As for the Bolshevik riots in Slovakia, they had already shown in the first few days that the London emigrant clique had no idea of the true attitude of the Czech and Slovak peoples. The minister called on the Czech people to stand by the government's side with confidence and discipline.
