The Czech Minister for People's Enlightenment, Moravec, gave a radio address to the Czech people, in which he emphasized that in Bohemia and Moravia calm reigns, that all forces are working and that it has succeeded in gaining the trust of the empire. The vast majority of the Czech people had realized that the only way to save the small peoples was to win the empire. In the sixth year of the war, in Bohemia and Moravia, which are today one of the quietest areas of Europe, no one needed to suffer hardship and hunger. As far as the Bolshevik riots in Slovakia were concerned, they had already shown in the first few days that the London emigrant clique had no idea of the true attitude of the Czech and Slovak peoples. The minister called on the Czech people to stand by the government through trust and discipline.
