English Translation
8 4a in June 4th came back from Oranieburg to Prague a further 125 students/The rest have not returned since then. Parents always turn to the President again with the request to turn for their children and obtain their release. They are convinced that only administrative obstacles delay the release. It is difficult for them to believe that over a hundred students should be regarded as ringleaders or be burdened with a personal guilt. They point out that those who have already been released were taken into protective custody under the same conditions and kept in the camps as their sons and that individual cases involving personal guilt were treated separately. Mr President-in-Office of the Council, since its inception, has dispelled this question and has repeatedly supported its favourable solution, not only with regard to these young people who can work as good workers, but also in view of the retroactivity in wider sections of the population, and he appreciates the fact that most of the students have already been dismissed. The dismissal of the last group and the final settlement brought about would not only mean the success of its previous steps, but also a very favorable response in the public sphere. 29:81 Q@WS
