In the evening and 7 o'clock we called the employment office, where we were told again that we were not allowed to stay.Since we could not stay at the station, we went to the police department and asked for a night camp.We were taken to a detention centre where we had to stay overnight.Sams- day we were again told that we did not need us, we should go home quietly. So on Saturday afternoon we went back home with the people who were sent to private companies." The worker Vaclav Houška, who had been employed for 20 years in the chemical factory (industry A.G.) in Gassnau (Poland, Croatia) was on 30.10. 42 to Falkenberg, where he had to stay without employment for 25 days.During this time, his wife had to send him all his savings, which made her in need.
