B e r i c h t on the assessment of the speech of the Secretary of State of 26 February 1943 in the circles of Czech industrialists. The circle of persons covered by the investigations involved partly Czech industrialists themselves or Czech employees of the industrial organization, partly also other persons outside the industry, of whom it is known that they have relations with the circles of industry. Some of the persons interviewed were present at the rally themselves or had heard the speech on the radio or read it in the press. The interview was conducted partly directly, partly via German or Czech middlemen. I. Impression of the speech. In principle and uniformly, it could be stated that the State Secretary's speech made an extraordinary impression both in terms of his state political position and in particular with regard to his person.
