I welcome the opportunity to address some forts to representatives of the economy of the Protectorate on the occasion of my presence at the Prague Autumn Fair. The year that has elapsed since the last Prague Autumn Mass brought about the difficult task of a threefold conversion. First of all, the transition from liberalism to the principles of the state-directed National Socialist virtuousness, then the conversion of the price structure and the entire economic base to the realities of the Grossdeutsche Wirtschaftsraum and, last but not least, the conversion to the requirements of war. It is a pleasure to note that this threefold task, in spite of the greatest uncertainties, has been largely solved. We are now ready to be able to carry out the final integration into the Greater Germany also in customs and monetary terms. Nevertheless, we must be clear that there is still a hard work ahead of us, that the necessary smooth transition in the new, large and so many possibilities offering economic area to the responsible men of the Protectorate many
