131 -2 - On point 1) it can be said that today it is idle to discuss the share and merit of the Sudeten German Catholicism in the political liberation and the national orientation of Sudeto-Germanism. Only the present situation can be decisive. Here it must be noted that by the person of Prof. Kindermann the Catholic Action within the German sector in Bohemia and Moravia has experienced a tremendous boost. Up to the individual German people's island regions a dangerous anti-national socialist activity of the German Catholic clergy is already evident in some places. On the other hand, the German clergy's front position against ecclesiastical Czech patronage has declined, clearly recognisable in recent months. On point 2), it should be pointed out that the attempts to create in Prague a collection point for the training of folk-German clerics from the southeast and to make Prague the point of charisma of a Catholic diaspora work cannot be missed, the goal of the National Socialist Germany can only be to have a Vdks-German priestly training, if at all, carried out at least in a clean national socialist environment, but for this the protectorate, where the numerical and cultural as well as ideological weakness of the Germanism is still openly revealed today, is by no means a suitable starting point, purely locally.
