10 30 September 1940. St.S. 515/40. Prime Minister Eliáš, Prague. Subject: Protection of Josef Podivinský from Hobitschau Following regular surveys, I will inform you of the following requests made by Popelka at the Registry of the Reich Protector: The Czech land reform of the German village of Hobitschau near Wischau for Czech purposes by Benesch-Systey duröh Josef Podivineký has been known for years as a Czech chauvinist and hetzer in the German Wischau language island. He repeatedly interfered with the peace and order of the German village through his attempts at Czechization. He also sabotaged orders recently taken by German authorities. The bitterness of German villagers against this chauvinist is such that a release from the protective detention centre cannot be considered as soon as Podivinský became St. S.V 3-17.
