In order to carry out the reorganisation of the economic control service, I have set up a department in the Ministry of the Interior which I have entrusted with the task imposed on me and with the submission of requests aimed at the performance of this task and which will carry out my direct instructions. At the same time, in connection with this department, I intend to immediately set up a separate control department of higher organs of the gendarmerie and police service with the authority of the General Commander of the Gendarmeria for the purpose of constantly, energetically and personally monitoring all appearances in the economic control service, removing them on the spot, or immediately reporting them to the competent authorities in order to remedy them.
