- 4 - 2.) On 1.1.1942, the layout of the railway directions was aligned with the organization of the Deutsche Reichsbahn. The previous structure according to groups was removed. As with the Reichs Railway Directorates, the completion of the business assignments is now assigned to departments, which are grouped into departments according to subject areas. Offices have been set up for the office management of the affairs. The business course is governed by the "Business Instructions for the Railway Directorates of the Protectorate Railways of Bohemia and Moravia" and the "business instructions for the offices of the Railway Directors", which were issued in accordance with the corresponding Reichsbahn regulations. The task of the departmental staff and the office staff was defined by business plans for the railways and by work distribution plans for their offices in such a way that the responsibilities of the individual staff are now clearly stated. For the completion of the business as with the Deutsche Reichsbahn, the principle of the individual decision applies, for which the departments responsible for the business plan bear the responsibility in both factual and formal terms. The division of business tasks between the departments was largely adapted to the proven business structure of the Reichs Bahn Directorates. Therefore, the description of the departmental records with numbers from the Reichsbahnorga- nisation could be taken over consistently. The special obligations during the transfer period, which arise in particular from the still existing diversity of material business execution according to the deviating service regulations of the Protectorate Railways (BMB), were taken into account by the establishment of auxiliary and transitional departments; they will be eliminated as soon as the planned alignment with the regulation of the Deutsche Reichsbahn has been carried out on the skilled workers. After all, a thorough publishing process has already been achieved by the heads of departments and the director's board of directors.
